The John Maxwell Team was established in 2011. It launched with 400 founder members. In 2016, it celebrated its 5th Anniversary with 14,000 members representing every nation in the world and every level of leadership, from CEOs of PLCs to Graduates. In 2020, it staged its first virtual conference, Leaders Lead, attended by 6,000 of its 35,000 members.
The JMT is not a network marketing company (MLM) nor is it a franchise. It is an authentic certification programme that supplies us with licenses to deliver John’s content, chosen to cater for every level of leadership, from the individual who wants to learn how to grow their influence, to people-builders, to seasoned leaders who want to refresh their leadership skills as well as learn new ones. We receive lifetime access to multiple weekly teaching and support calls, all live and followed up with Q&A, so we can carry on learning and growing and refreshing our skills and ideas on the subjects we teach.
Mentorship is a more advanced stage of membership. It provides us with daily live teaching contact, monthly group mentoring from John, more content and the ability to represent the team at international events as an ambassador. We gain access to additional tools such as The Leadership Game to add even greater value to our clients.
